As many of you know, Uber Entertainment has been hard at work on their new game Super Monday Night Combat. It’s been in beta since October, and your’s truly has been playing since then. Not as much as I have wanted to play, but I have been playing.
Well after some mistakes, wonkiness, and an accidental launch on Steam, the folks over at Uber Entertainment just went with it. Instead of calling the game back and freaking out about it being released early, and that it wasn’t ready, they let the game release. I know, you just did a triple take at your computer screen and started to scream what in the what?!
Quoting Chandana “Eka” Ekanayake from their official forums:
We did a bunch of invites over the weekend and there was some wonkiness on how the messaging went out with lots of confusion which resulted in more silliness. We decided to just open it up. There will be an announcement about it on Steam soon.
Now there is NO EXCUSE not to give this game a go as it’s free to play. And as soon as I clear up my review backlog, I will be reviewing the game, and hopefully getting an official word from Uber Entertainment on the “Premature Distribution”.

Also when people didn’t like uber points they removed them.
