Appearing for the THIRD time here on the JPS Podcast, Michael Hicks from MichaelArts talks about his new “art game” Sententia, where the main character fights with words in a quest to determine just who he is and where he fits in existence.   Michael discusses switching from 3D space sims to a 2D platoformer,  his new feelings on design, and just what it’s like to be on the receiving end of harsh feedback from the youtube crowd. We even try to figure out why developers put themselves through the stress of creating and releasing a title during this session.  Sententia, sounds incredible, and I can’t wait to see the finished product!
