There are some games that you play and instantly insist that everyone you have ever met do the same, for me Amnesia: The Dark Descent was one of those games. Due to me (and perhaps to a minor extend the various bundles and other promotion this genuinely terrifying indie horror received), the game is pretty much in everyone’s Steam library and of course their nightmares.

Few things could therefore have made me more excited for any sequel to this somewhat mentally scarring success, but thechineseroom (of Dear Esther fame) being revealed to be involved with the project was certainly one of them. As sadistic as this anticipation based torture already was, Frictional Games have decided to amplify my agony somewhat by releasing a teaser trailer for Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs filled with suspense, tension and most intriguingly scenes occurring outdoors.
